被保険者または被扶養者が高額な医療費を負担した場合、一定額（自己負担限度額）を超えた分は高額療養費として健保組合から払い戻されます（自己負担限度額は所得によって異なります）。なお、支給は診療月から３ヵ月程度かかります。
